Joan G. Calkins, MD

Educated at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Dr. Calkins is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics, sub-Board of Pediatric Rheumatology and the American College of Rheumatology. She also is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and is often giving lectures and seminars on her experience and knowledge.
Dr. Calkins likes to spend what little free time she has on her farm tending to her animals. She is the loving mothers of 5 grown children.

 


 

Lindsey Rogers, RPA-C

Educated at Daemen College, Lindsey has a B.S. in Health Science and an M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies and has worked with Dr. calkins for over 11 years. Her experience has expanded so that Lindsey sees both Pediatric and Rheumatology patients.
Lindsey enjoys running and spending time with her husband and two children.

 


 

Melinda S. Haas, DNFP-C

Educated at Fredonia State, St. John Fisher and the University of Buffalo, Melinda has a Doctorate in Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner to go with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S.N. in Nursing. In addition to seeing patients at Village Pediatrics for the past 2 years, Melinda is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Buffalo School of Nursing.
Melinda enjoys snowboarding and spending her free time with her husband and two young children.

 


 

Sheena M. Mikac, RPA-C

Educated at D’Youville College, Sheena has a B.S. and M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies. She has been with Village Pediatrics for 2 years seeing Pediatric Patients. In her leisure time she enjoys running and spending time with her husband and three young children.
